We were just given access to the title and can confirm that it targets 60 frames per second (FPS) if you remove the frame rate lock in the display settings.
Yea it’s not graphically challenged by any means
PS4 Pro doesn't run it at 60fps though.
Does “the beast“1X do 60fps without dipping then. No Why bring ps4 to the conversation when it’s about next gen consoles. Typical insecure fanboy read a general TRUE statement and somehow it’s a attack to their manhood and favorite console 🙄
had to pick this one up again. thanks to the remaster team. visuals now look a lot closer to a launch current gen title. it's a lot nicer of a transition to playing this old gem than before.
this use to run past 30fps on the xbox 360 with the vsync uncapped. look it up. same with the original bioshock.
@1Victor did you read the article as it clearly says that the game is on PS4, Xbox One and PC and so that means it's for current gen, which includes the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X and not next gen like you say
Runs at in the low 50s to high 40s but it's suspected that as it's unlocked next gen machines will be able to go higher @1victor the X runs at a near locked 60 with duos down to 58 occurring occasionally as per DF analysis. Not a Xbox fan just into tech
@1victor What are you smoking bro?! 🤣
Actually it does! Digital Foundry has confirmed it as so. For those agreeing they should maybe check it out with you.
Lol I didn’t even say anything about PS4. Saints Row is nothing special to run at 60 when we have games like Monster World that can run 60
So you haven't played it? It has some pretty ridiculous graphical upgrades and lighting that rivals AC Unity which is one of the best out still. Go check out DF analysis if you need proof. I have put about 6 hours into already and it easily rivals most current gen games.
You'd think that but it actually looks pretty good
It actually has a extremely significant overhaul of the graphics digital foundry couldn't give it enough praise for how much work they put in
They were smart in uncapping that means next gen consoles will be playing this and other uncapped games in higher frames and resolutions locked.
Can't wait for that there's a small growing number of games taking this uncap approach which means that as long as BC evolves games will always improve in similar ways to PC games which run better on newer hardware
60+ fps better be the norm with these new consoles im sure that game ran out 100+ fps when it came out on pc. I have this game on steam i never finished it but it wasnt hard to run when i played it.
https://www.dsogaming.com/w... Even a 980Ti from 2015 is running this pretty fast @ 1440p, the 4k frame rates are bit crappy tho on most GPUs but not much of a surprise.
When the original came out I played it on a 2gb card from memory and it was more than enough to power it on ultra at 1080 but the game was just randomly choppy it wasn't a great PC release back then like more work went into the consoles which were expecting to sell more
Only played the first game in the series, and still remember how impressed I was by the graphics on the X360. A shame the sequels didn’t keep the semi- realistic setting and be an alternative for GTA fans. Good to see the developer trying to push for 60fps on the 1X.
Do yourself a favour go rewatch some YouTube clips of the first game it didn't age well. But I'm in the same boat it was my first game on my 360 and I was blown away that someone made a amazing looking GTA clone but it played as good as any shooter at the time.
After reading your comment I had to fire it up on X1X through BC. I think it still looks pretty damn good for how old it is.
That should go without saying smh
