I wish mafia 2 would be fixed. Before the patch I stopped playing it because it was crashing left and right. Now after the patch it’s stuck on the loading screen. I let it run for ten minutes or more a few times

The Epic Store version is a complete mess, but not the cracked version. Gotta love that.
the Pc platform is inherently more difficult to properly test on due to the huge number of possible configurations. Consoles don't have such problems so the quality of console exclusives is generally better.

Just play the original. It's cheaper (currently $2.49), it works and you don't have to deal with EGS.
I suppose you can polish a third all you want but, at the end of the day, it's still a third.
