You can play it in Europe, it's just that you have to jump through hoops to get the full experience. People say things like "you don't need premium to enjoy it" which is true.....for some people. If you have played Phantasy Star Universe though like I did, then the premium content is a necessity and I can't enjoy it the same without it.

The problem is that I need to actually pay money for that premium content, but to pay for that content I need to change my region and add US dollar gift cards to my Microsoft account to purchase it.

It's good that Microsoft approached Sega at all, but come on, couldn't they have pushed for a worldwide release of the game? we have waited way longer than is reasonable.

Do we have to have Xbox Live to play it? SEGA must not like money. They released it on Vita in Japan and then they put it on the worst selling console of this generation and poorest selling console of any generation. Xbox has come in third, every time. I don't wanna pay $60 for a year of Live, I already have PlayStation Plus.

WoW is a mess and it will continue to be a mess. Still, the less-developed MMOs are going to have trouble gaining a fan base because they lack content right now. Even if people do flock to FF14 or BDO, they'll go back to WoW if they fix enough features or give players a shred of hope.

Didn't know people still played this game

Jiub987d ago

Fewer people for certain but still a lot of people.

gleepot987d ago

Nah, I'll keep playing the game with the millions of other people. The writing on the wall says "game is not dead" even though people have claimed it is for 15 years.

Jiub987d ago

I'd guess that people are going to filter out but then come back for the next expac when the turmoil is over. I do worry about content delays, though.
