GameFocus: "In an interview with Forbes, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime slammed third party companies saying that they don't understand Wii players, making his company very unsatisfied."
Celebrate the Super Star Wars SNES trilogy anniversary—1992 to 1994 classics that redefined retro Star Wars gaming with iconic levels, bosses, and chaos.
AnerdzLife ranks the main line Resident Evil games
The Wii was an interesting experiment that some struggled to make good games for, but many developers found ways to create Wii titles that are just as much fun to play now.
Do something about Reggie.Buy some of the small developers to increase your 1st party workforce.Or don't give Wii contracts to less amateur or poorly performing studios. You could also convince a developer to try different genres like RPGs or action games
reggie
3rd parties don't want to ruin theur games with wii
look at dead rising, man after two years and looks like this?
gamecube+
reggie, hey wake up,imagine any HD game released on wii,it will be outdated, just look at waw on wii then look at ps3 or 360 version, can you imagine mirror's edge on wii? and others?
facts is facts,graphics are important
Nintendo have been screwing 3rd party for years.
Force them to pay a hefty royalty rates for cartridges during SNES and limiting them to 4 games a year.
The royalty rates got worst during N64.
Not only that Nintendo only promotes their 1st party game and I don't see a change in that one.
Promote all you're 3rd party games, you don't understand. That includes COD WAW, Tomb Raider U, Mad World, and etc.
Wow, haven't read this story on N4G three times already!
Seriously, who approves this crap?
He is right. He is right. Third-party developers don't take the Wii seriously. I wish they would. The Wii is the only console that I can afford and I am a personal Nintendo fanboy (a HUGE fanboy). The Wii is perfect for new titles, and spin-off titles (Doom Wii, Quake Wii). The Wii is also great for first-person shooters. Graphics don't matter, gameplay does. Even if they want to use high powered graphics they should use the f*%#ing Quantam3 engine. Developers are too picky, Nintendo made Konami and Capcom. The developers are all traitors (Except High Voltage Software, Free Radical Design, and maybe Gamecock, we love you guys). I hope id Software, Ubisoft, Epic Games, EA, Activision, etc then start to create massive amounts of hardcore Wii shooters, RPGs and RTSs. Graphics don't really matter, it is just the gameplay. We gamers should go to all these developers and show them Quantam3 in their faces. Reggie, you are so right (Just make the Wii 2 next-gen.)
