Gary Sheppard of GameGrin reviews Lair of the Clockwork God on PC, writing: "My two favourite genres of game have always been platformers and point-and-click adventure games. This is mainly because of my long-documented penchant for getting lost in less linear games. There was that time I got lost for a little while in Sonic Mania, but we don’t talk of that. The point is that Lair of the Clockwork God is a glorious mash-up of two genres. But is it a “peanut butter and chocolate” combination or more of a “sausages and jam” kind of affair?"
The Nintendo Switch Point & Click Sale is offering discounts as high as 76% off for adventure games on the Nintendo Switch.
James writes - "If you’re up to the task, it’s time for one last adventure as we attempt to discover 5 of the best Xbox Point and Click Adventures of 2020. So, grab a backpack and stuff it with as many random items as you can for the journey ahead. Who knows when the half-empty tube of toothpaste or inconspicuous ornament will come in handy!"
"Lair of the Clockwork God is filled with dry, self-aware humour. You'll have a blast as Dan and Ben try to stop ALL the apocalypses." Paul @ Thumb Culture
