I'm so disappointed in this game. My friends and I had such a good time with Friday the 13th when it released. Despite all its bugs and issues it had such character and charm that it was a blast to play. This has none of that

Sony bet on the wrong horse when they partnered with Illfonic. Friday the 13th was fun, but a very buggy mess especially at launch

I was excited for this game when it was first being talked about but as soon as I saw gameplay I was like I'll pass. This game reminds me of evolve but worse and yes I also think evolve was a massive letdown.

No matter what flaws this has Evolve was much, much worse. That was one of the worst of all time, and the microtransactions brought it down even further. As a follow up to left 4 dead it was a disgrace

I never care for any game where your fun is dependent on other people also playing the game. If your friends didn't buy it along with you, then you have to play with strangers. Then when the lobbies eventually dry up all you have is the skeletal frame of game. Crossplay can't save a $#!+ game.

I will always prefer a fleshed out self contained single player game any time over multiplayer type games.

I've read several reviews that say the Predator is too weak but after playing all weekend that isn't the case in my eyes. I'd say 80% of the matches I played the Predator won and many times in the first few minutes. Once you unlock the Berserker class and the combistick you find that it is OP. Almost every match that's what the player is using because you can wipe out the full team before they can take your health down. These reviewers must have played on Friday before everyone had that.

$49.99 CAD was a good 60% higher than what I felt it should’ve been. Let alone the $79.99 deluxe ed. It’s more BF:1943 than BF4, and 1943 only cost me around $15.

But that deluxe ed. An extra $30 for a couple boosters, a couple cosmetics and a couple early access skins? Should’ve maybe gone with a FTP model or a PS+ debut ala Rocket League. Get ppl invested early and establish a player base before the reviews deter.

You’re right. But MS will still support Bleeding Edge and release content updates for it because it is on Gamepass. As for this game, I don’t know if the same principle will be applied or not.

Sony doesn’t own this studio so I imagine additional content would be up to the devs. Same way Hello Games was responsible for No Mans Sky. Afaik nothing’s stopping this from going to Xbox someday other than the terms of the publishing.

The developer already said they plan to support this game with updates and content. They did the same thing for Friday the 13th.

I bet you there are more people playing this game than there are playing Bleeding Edge. They both got around the same review scores too. I've been playing this all weekend and there are a ton of people playing it.

@TGG Bleeding Edge released a month ago, it is expected the players count to fall off, especially since there isn't much to do beside the two game modes.

Both aren't expected to be a major success.
