CG writes: We have sunk several hours into the online portion of Resident Evil Resistance alongside playing the practice mode solo. However, it seems like a missed-opportunity that Capcom opted to not include any unlockable extra mode for Resident Evil 3 Remake. Especially for those enjoying the single-player game. The original Resident Evil 3 Nemesis had the unlockable mercenaries mode for beating the campaign. So why not offer solo players a stab at Resident Evil Resistance?
Resident Evil 3 remake got ported to Mac, iPhone and iPad.
Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 3 Remake will be the fifth entry in the series to receive an iOS port for Apple devices.
PS Plus Extra and Premium are set to lose 9 games in March, 2025, including Capcom's survival-horror game, Resident Evil 3.
Out with the old in with the new. Some decent games here but nothing that couldn't be grabbed for a fiver or less if you wanted to keep playing.
Ps plus library pick-up games have been great lately so can't be upset losing these when we are getting stuff like gow Ragnarok or the man who erased his name even the classics have been good lately
Would be nice for sure. It seems like the whole game was a missed-opportunity withits stripped down content and story overall.
The "why" is obvious, they want it to remain multiplayer so players will feel the need to buy lootboxes. But it sucks for me that they spent time and resources on a mode I'll never play, since I despise online multiplayer, instead of using them on making the main game longer or on a single player extra mode.
I wish they did something like Resident Evil Revelations 2 Raid mode.
This is bollocks i never knew they made new areas for resistance. They should have just made the proper areas in Resi 3 like the clock tower the park the garage the lab the proper underground what a god-damned waste.
This mode shouldn't have been packaged in with RE3 its so obvious they put more time into this than the RE3 SP.
I enjoyed for what it was, but it was really one of those two days of enjoyment then I you're done kind of thing. I really wish this was just Mercenaries mode, but I really don't understand why they didn't just remake The Mercenaries- Operation: Mad Jackal, which was in the original, for this Remake. It's just so odd they didn't choose to remake a game mode from the game that pretty much started the Mercenaries trend in most RE games. They could have had it play in a somewhat similar style to Operation Raccoon City, minus the terrible gunplay and AI, nonstop waves of drone minded enemies and ridiculous abilities and character design, obviously just using the current RE3 Remake game mechanics. The premise of escaping the city to earn your "freedom" as a reward from Brian Irons, saving civilians to add more time to your end score/currency, and playing as a four man UBCS fireteam. One player could have played as the mastermind in the city, similar to how it is in Resistance, or just have them play as Nemesis, or even just play as different creatures to try and stop the fireteam from escaping.
