crazy that there needs to be a mod for that.
especially with how visible enemy counts are in this.
another great job for the moding community.

Oh, are they 30fps? I thought it was even less.
If it's really 30fps, it makes me realize something funny: I never heard anybody saying that they didn't notice the zombies being in a lower framerate. Meanwhile, a lot of people say that don't see any differences between 30fps and 60fps, but putting a 30fps animation in a 60fps game, everybody agrees that it's bad.

Maybe Capcom unknowingly showed those naysayers that the difference between 30fps and 60fps is noticeable, indeed.

carcarias1907d ago

Heh, good point. I still can't believe we sometimes hear the old 'no real difference thing'.

When people get 60fps on their consoles next-gen, they'll start talking about how smooth it is in comparison then they'll never want to go back :)

PitbullMonster1907d ago

Every second frame of the animation is missing, that's why it looks so stuttering.

FullDiveDerail1906d ago

yeah they looked like like they were easily less than 20 FPS. To the point of 15 or less.

Bob Dole1907d ago

That always bothered me with RE2 remake. Zombies in front of me are moving at 90+fps while the ones way in the distance were probably 20 max. This should be in the settings of the game outright.

DevilOgreFish1907d ago (Edited 1907d ago )

just about every pc gamer is saying this.
makes it feel so less optimized. good job to the moders!

I prefer play the original more than this

RE3 need another remake

DivineHand12598d ago

Why not port RE4 remake to meta quest 3?

Profchaos98d ago

Because the headset isn't capable of running it simply put it's not powerful enough.

Look at metro awakening on quest 3 that's pushing it to its extreme and it's quite far behind PC and PS for graphical capabilities.

Profchaos98d ago

Wow I thought they would abandon this as the sales for village and 4 were abysmal

JEECE98d ago

For whatever reason and despite all evidence to the contrary, their are some companies bent on convincing themselves and others that people want to play premium games on Apple devices.

VersusDMC98d ago

It's assumed apple is paying for the ports. Apple probably paid a lump sum for all the RE games so capcom is just finishing up the contract.

Or maybe Capcom sees this as port practice for the switch 2 or these ports are what the switch 2 versions will be?

Out with the old in with the new. Some decent games here but nothing that couldn't be grabbed for a fiver or less if you wanted to keep playing.

Ps plus library pick-up games have been great lately so can't be upset losing these when we are getting stuff like gow Ragnarok or the man who erased his name even the classics have been good lately

RIP 9 game, I've hardly played ye.
