Operencia The Stolen Sun just works on so many different levels. Expansive was really taken aback by just how well put together, presented and enjoyable it all is.
Zen Studios, "Announcing that Operencia: The Stolen Sun will arrive on PlayStation 4, Steam VR & the Epic Games Store on September 15!"
This is huge for me. Been waiting for a good turn-based RPG on PSVR. I bought this back in June, when they first announced it was coming. I tried like 30 mins of it, to know it's already great in its own right. The devs had said classics like Eye of the Beholder were their inspiration. This is really going to be great in VR!
PP: The world of Operencia, Zen’s homage to classic dungeon crawlers, will be brought to life when Operencia: The Stolen releases on VR later this year.
This is big news for fans of rpgs on the PS VR! There really isn't a turn-based game like this, other than the really low budget Crystal Rift.
I didn't know much about this game before I heard this announcement, but I started watching reviews, reading from the developers. It seems it was a great little indie game to begin with, having a 25 hour campaign, great old school grid-based dungeon crawling gameplay full of loot and quite a nice aesthetic.
Head's up, it's on sale for 30% off on PSN for $20.99 right now. I bought my copy today and will wait to play it after the update. Hope it hits really soon. Pretty much like a 30% off preorder. :)
Zen Studios, often known for their awesome pinball games, offers a modern take on classic turn-based dungeon crawling. Operencia is a game that wears it’s old school on it’s sleeve, but has enough of a modern twist to attract newer gamers into the fold.
