I've seen plenty controller players hold there own on PC. And most players you come across on PC and console are pretty trash online. My concern is the cheating.
I think it has more to do with the fact that Joy-Cons drift like Ken Block and Nintendo games are so easy nowadays that some of them literally play themselves. Maybe that has more to do with it yeah?
To be fair, it's not crossplay that preserves old games, it's open servers. I mean, look at CS 1.6, WarCraft III, even Star Wars: Jedi Knight games, you can still play them without any issues on public and private servers. Too bad that publishers/developers do not like to do that anymore. And once they disable the servers, that's it, the multiplayer part of the game is dead.
Well it's new on switch comparatively, but also you got a LOT more functionality at your fingertips with a M/Kb vs a controller, or god forbid a single joycon.
I'm all for crossplay but more on co-op games or games that have even footing when it comes to input (like fighting games). Playing with m&k with a jacked up sensitivity is too much of an advantage over analog gamepads.
I don’t know, is crossplay the only option to play online in this game?
And forgive me if I’m wrong, but aren’t alot of (if not all) modern games that have PC-console crossplay, they have the option to play controller vs controller only?
TBF PC players have decades of experience playing this game.
Exactly why I don't want cross play with PC.
but.. but.. console player always said they can kick PC player ass anytime...
You've got new people learning to play vs people who have played the game to death on PC. It's really not surprising.
bu but but you love crossplay ! hahaha, this is hilarious, well deserved XD
