If a game is on the switch I'm not interested in playing it. The switch has 95 percent old games with the worst performance.

I agree SWITCH has less performance. But saying it has 95% old games is going way beyond being a fanboy.

Only a sith deals in absolutes

indysurfn1482d ago

ummmmmmm.........hmmmmmmm..... ...LOL......you realize that...

LucasRuinedChildhood1482d ago

It should be "Siths have a tendency to deal in absolutes". haha

ShadowWolf7121481d ago (Edited 1481d ago )

No, and neither did George.

Even funnier when you realize he added this line and the one it responded to in order to take shots at George Bush.

phoenixwing1478d ago

@shadow you read too deep into it. I just wanted to make a star wars reference, when he makes the statement saying you can't release a game if you don't put it on nintendo he's making a very wrong supposition and I decided to call him a sith because i like star wars

He said with absolute resolve

It's interesting that Switch has earned that reputation of being the platform to release indie games. I can't act super surprised though as that's been my system of choice for these kinds of simplistic games. I could get them on my PS4 too, but I prefer using my PS4 for more complex titles.

Sono4211481d ago

same, most indie games, or games that don't focus on online multiplayer, or have pretty weak graphics in general I will get on my switch, everything else is on my PS4 or PC

Vegamyster1481d ago

I'm sure this comment section will be civil.

In seriousness though from the perspective of a indie developer and demand across platforms i can see this, this was an article from a few years ago and a lot of indie devs were very pleased with sales on Switch: https://www.pcgamer.com/ind...

Some of the numbers given honestly surprised me, i had no idea how well these games were doing on the platform.

Pocketpair Studio Boss Calls Out Tencent For Developing A Palworld Clone

The game in question appears to be dubbed Auroria on Steam, which shares a plethora of similarities with Palworld.

Inverno1d 6h ago

No offense but Palworld isn't that original either, with that said… ew Tencent no thank you. I love the survival genre but all these half baked early access games have ruined the genre for me.

exputers16h ago

>Palworld isn't that original either

Can't disagree with that, but it did spin the Pokemon dynamic in a unique way, you gotta give Pocketpair that. Now by doing so, prepare for a ton of Palworld clones, both on PC and mobile.

Christopher9h ago

True, but big pocket people pushing out little pocket people is a huge problem. It's Walmart of the digital world.

Inverno9h ago

Not much that can be done though. Tencent been making clones of what's popular for a while. I don't touch anything they make, except for Don't Starve but i bought that before Klei sold themselves to the devil.

Christopher9h ago(Edited 9h ago)

@Inverno: There's a lot that can be done, actually. Just no one is willing to do it. Anti-competitive/monopoly laws literally exist for this exact reason. Governments are just letting big corporations do whatever they want.
