They made a trailer for the 25th Anniversary of the legendary Ace Combat to announce some... free skins.

What’s wrong with that? Not enough free stuff for you?

I’ve already platinumed it feel bad for people booting it up expecting something good.

But no VR update to give gamers at least one or two more levels to fly around in as excellent as it is. Or even online One vs One in VR. Can't be bothered to support anything more for those 5+million headsets. I'd even buy 5 more levels at $9.99-$14.99. Not so bad when I bought the physical copy during Black Friday for $15.

This update is worthless to me.

That's because you feel so damn entitled. But no, you aren't. You paid for a product. This is free.

I would like a new AC myself. The new levels are cool I suppose, but the season pass is kind of expensive, and single levels are way overpriced. Loved AC7. Masterfully crafted game, and had a great VR section...albeit short.

If you think VR is the most relevant way to enjoy AC games, you're doing it wrong. It's a nice gimmick to enjoy for an evening, but literally anything else in the game is better.

I think it's a great way to enjoy it, and if it was offered for the whole game, instead of just a few levels, I definitely would have played the whole game in VR. It's a great experience, once you get past the nausea inducing feeling of being in a jet moving the way fighter jets do.

I'd play the game either way, and I did, but VR would be the best way to enjoy the game, because it's a completely different experience.

@rainslacker: The best way to enjoy the game is the story campaign. The VR experience doesn't even come close to compare. And the story is not in VR because VR massively limits the resources that can be used to make the campaign as cinematic and spectacular as it is.
