Resident Evil 2 was a home run, but what about Resident Evil 3? Will it be as well received?
Yes. Fans are nothing if not nostalgic. This will sell just as well as Resident Evil 2 did.
Um no it doesn't its like Doom Eternal a game fans want and deserve.
I'm just waiting on a sequel to part7
I'm hoping the rumors are true and they're developing 2 new games. 1 as a follow up to 7 (including VR) and a second more traditional game. Need a new full VR game.
I wonder if they will remake Code Veronica after RE8? RE3 should do well with sales the RE Engine is a great looking engine RE7 and RE2 remake both look great with that engine and both are great to play. Can't wait to see how the RE Engine evolves on the PS5 and Series X.
Played the demo, met the new nemesis, am in love all over again
I wish for a RE1 remake but never gonna happen right?
I know it’s been remade more times than pretty much any game but yeah I would love a remake in the style of 2/3 remake...either that or code v next.... if re3 goes well which it should ?....hopefully we’ll get both over the next few yrs?
Id rather get a CVX or RE4 remake before the orig got remade. Im hoping 4 is next year.
@ArmyVetGamer RE4-6 are pointless shooters :/
Love it to just hope they don’t nickel and dime us like the re2 sound track.....and the way they might do it is but letting us pay for the original nemesis voice....STARS...or the original skin for nemesis as I’ve read some ppl don’t like his new look .....I love it
I honestly don’t know what this guy is on about...re3 was my favourite bk in 1999...the dodge move was welcomed by me...could do with it in a few places in re2 remake...but whatever....then he admits he never played it...jeez what am I reading!!🥴
No. It doesn't have to.
Some strange takes here. "Old hasty Capcom" suggests that RE: 3 was greenlit after RE: 2 Remakes release. That isn't the case. First of all, turning around a game with this level of visual and animation quality in a year would be nigh on impossible. Also, work on Nemesis began at the same time as RE: 2. The original plan was to release them together, until the scope of both projects made that unrealistic. The angle here seems to be about analysing Resident Evil 3's original release, and the challenges it faced, as opposed to evaluating what this remake will bring to the table. After 7's about turn, and the success of 2, I'd say Capcom don't have anything to prove. If anything, they just have to keep doing what they're doing. Their current approach has translated to critical and commercial success, after years of dropping the ball.
The number 4 comes after 3... im hoping resident evil 4 gets the REmake treatment next. Its arguably many peoples fav RE in the series.
Wrong, Re4 is more of a TPS than survival horror and thus doesnt deserve a remake unless it is changed completely to be an ammo conserving survival game
Wait lol. So what part was i wrong about? The fact that THE #4 comes after #3? Or that its arguably many peoples fav RE?? This should be entertaining. On a side note, CVX was my fav until i played 4... and while i see where people with your stance are comming from on the more action than survival horror as i completely hated 5 and 6 wasnt much better but thought 7 was amazing. It just seemed like to me they tried to recreate what made 4 so great in 5 and it bombed hard with me. Also... i dont need RE to be survival horror to enjoy it... that ship sailed a long long time ago... the remakes arent even survival horror and frankly, i couldnt remember the last decent survival horror game i played if at all this gen.
