Neil writes: "Dark Souls fan but in need of something different? Well, Ratalaika Games' latest cheap release on Xbox One, PS4, PS Vita and Nintendo Switch promises to deliver a deadly fantasy world your way. But the difference is, in Duck Souls+ you'll be found controlling a cute little duck on a quest to find his long lost eggs. What's not to like?"
CCG writes - "Sometimes, the simple can be the most fun, especially if you still manage to make it challenging while not being unfair. A platform side-scroller game with super hard spike trap puzzles called "I Wanna Be The Guy" was released a while back to do this. It was quite difficult despite being rather simple in design but inspired lots of players to try beating it anyway. Duck Souls+ is a game that tries to be a successor in many ways."
Kieran writes: "Duck Souls+ on Xbox One has fun gameplay, brisk as it may be. There are just so many better platformers with original voices that you should play first."
Dan writes: Duck Souls+ is an 8bit 2D action platformer akin to Super Meat Boy or more recently Reed Remastered and ZeroZeroZeroZero. Players will be dropped in a level filled with various traps all of which much be avoided in order to reach and save the egg. The game’s level is actually pretty fun and inventive. None of which feel cheap as it requires a bit of timing, speed, and reflexes.
Nothing like Dark Souls at all. And I thought the market for these kind of shovelware mini action puzzlers would be dead or saturated, but they just keep crapping these out.
Looks like a celeste clone
