Resident Evil 3 remake got ported to Mac, iPhone and iPad.
Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 3 Remake will be the fifth entry in the series to receive an iOS port for Apple devices.
Because the headset isn't capable of running it simply put it's not powerful enough.
Look at metro awakening on quest 3 that's pushing it to its extreme and it's quite far behind PC and PS for graphical capabilities.
For whatever reason and despite all evidence to the contrary, their are some companies bent on convincing themselves and others that people want to play premium games on Apple devices.
It's assumed apple is paying for the ports. Apple probably paid a lump sum for all the RE games so capcom is just finishing up the contract.
Or maybe Capcom sees this as port practice for the switch 2 or these ports are what the switch 2 versions will be?

PS Plus Extra and Premium are set to lose 9 games in March, 2025, including Capcom's survival-horror game, Resident Evil 3.
Out with the old in with the new. Some decent games here but nothing that couldn't be grabbed for a fiver or less if you wanted to keep playing.
Ps plus library pick-up games have been great lately so can't be upset losing these when we are getting stuff like gow Ragnarok or the man who erased his name even the classics have been good lately
RE2 is twice the length (not including opposite runs) than RE3, so how are they expanding it?
It’s too early to determine from a demo but I did like the changes they did to the game from RE2R.
The demo was excellent! I really can’t wait to see how the whole game plays out.
Capcom hopefully will change their minds after RE3 release and completely remake RE4
Demo was good but two things bothered me. The zombies eat way too much amo and the Nemesis is way too agressive. If they can dial those two things in, it will be perfect.
