Activision and Blizzard Dominate UK Charts

Both key publishing arms of Activision-Blizzard have stormed the UK all-format charts by accounting for over 25 percent of all games sold this week.

Activision's Call of Duty: World at war entered the charts at number one, becoming the UK's third-fastest-selling game of all time (behind GTA IV and San Andreas.)

Following close behind at second spot is Blizzard's World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, an expansion which has taken an accolade of its own by becoming the UK's fastest-selling PC game of all time. That record has stood firm ever since March 2003 when Sports Interactive's Championship Manager 4 stormed the shelves.
