hope they make something much better next game and its offline.

darthv721931d ago

Hellblade 2 looks to be just that... better and more than likely offline SP.

Godmars2901931d ago

Actually willing to bet that it isn't.

Bit of an insult to DMC, the true DMC, to mention and compare an arena fighting game in the same sentence.

We know, we know. DmC was a thing.

Godmars2901931d ago

That could be taken any number of ways...

AK911931d ago

I think you mean the DmC team and given the fact these game is mostly going ignored I think its kinda proving why they don't deserve one.

zelent1931d ago

I hope this game works out.

DMC is an underrated gem. I prefer it over any of the Devil May Cry games. Best of luck to the devs.

TheProfessional1931d ago

There's a reason you're in the minority. DmC was not a true Devil May cry game just a solid action game with great graphics and a terrible story. Also Dante's design was a joke and the way they disrespected the fans has not been forgotten.

Elda1931d ago

I enjoyed all the DMC games except 4. I thought 4 was a back tracking bore but after 4 DmC was a fresh coat of paint the franchise needed but the series bounced back with DMC 5.

Godmars2901931d ago

DMC4 was casualty of the HD upgrade debacle, the excessive spike in production costs chasing after the graphics dragon, no one really admits to.

ElementX1931d ago (Edited 1931d ago )

I started DMC a couple weeks ago and I'm having fun with it. I never played the other DMC games but I did buy DMC5 on sale to play after this one.

Marathon Development Update

Marathon was slated to launch on Sept. 23, 2025 across Xbox, PC, and PlayStation, but Bungie will share the new release date in the fall.

Jin_Sakai2d ago

Probably best just cancel it. The game has flop written all over it.

-Foxtrot2d ago

Yeah, you can delay it as much as you want but you ain’t gonna wash that stink off.

Killer2020UK2d ago

It will lessen though and possibly make all the difference if it launches in a state that rectified a lot of the issues people had with it. A LOT of ifs of course.

RaidenBlack2d ago

If you really gotta play ... play the better extraction shooter this year : ARC Raiders

ZeekQuattro2d ago

Delaying the inevitable. Bungie hoping the negative publicity will blow over. 🙄

darthv722d ago

They can't cancel it until a themed controller has been released first... like concord.

ZeekQuattro2d ago

I anxiously wait for that and a Marathon Secret Level episode.

GamingManiac2d ago

$10 says it'll have the stolen artwork on it lolol

dveio2d ago

If they were absolutely certain about the quality of Marathon, then they had not delayed it just now.

So they've basically just confirmed what everyone, well, a lot of people saw: Marathon is not ready yet, still no soul to be seen.

Tacoboto2d ago

"Doubling down on the Marathon Universe"

They're doubling down on soul, thank goodness this feedback illuminated that for them...

RaidenBlack2d ago

and N4G was littered with comments like : Marathon looks really good, maybe you're a hater and the likes blah blah ... especially under articles which compared it with Arc Raiders ....
