To shove down our throat and convince us to buy a VR pc headset, seriously is not rocket science, because revolutionary gameplay it doesn't look like it has one bit. :)

Lilrizky1944d ago

no one is shoving anything down your throat. buying a product is a choice lol

and yeah it is revolutionary in some areas. It takes physics and interactivity within VR to the next level (from what i've seen)

Fist4achin1944d ago (Edited 1944d ago )

Perhaps not shoving it down our throats, but putting gamers in the position of having to sign up for Steam and then having to purchase a game and VR setup.

It does look sweet, but i will wait on it. Be a little different if it was also released on PSVR. Couldnt they have also made the VR optional?!

Lilrizky1944d ago

@Fist4achin that's such a slippery slope argument though

"i have to buy a PC to play the original half life"

"I have to buy a switch for pokemon shield"

"i have to buy a ps4 to play god of war"

"i have to subscribe to netflix to watch the witcher"

each of those are putting you in a position to buy the requisite hardware if you want to play them.

I don't understand why VR has to be the exception?

Dom_Estos1944d ago

Stop talking bollocks. No one is shoving anything down your throat (well maybe they are, but I'm not judging) but if anything needs shoving, its some grammar lessons on how to actually construct a cohesive sentence. You're claiming there's no revolutionary gameplay in this, when almost literally every single interactive aspect within this game in VR is revolutionary to first person shooters, and gaming in general. Try doing some of the things in this gameplay with a keyboard and mouse or control pad. Oh, right....you actually can't.

FullDiveDerail1944d ago

if you tried high end vr this is very much a game changer for all of gaming

D3vilzRightHand1944d ago (Edited 1944d ago )

You do realize that you dont HAVE to by a VR set right? So stop your fucking whining
No one is shoving anything down your throat" LOL .

Are you complaining the same about :

I Need a PS4 for God Of War
I need a Xbox for Halo
I need a PC for original HL

Can't wait to watch the whole thing on YouTube

D3vilzRightHand1944d ago

Same here - as long as there is no ppl doing commentary gameplay - cant stand ppl that love there own voices that much as those fucking " Gameplay walkthrough WITH commentary" Why the fuck do you have to talk all the fucking time, Shut your soy boy mouth ffs....

Traecy1944d ago (Edited 1944d ago )

This game would have made more money if they would made it so one could play the game in VR,on a PC screen & for the PS4,PSVR & XBO.

Sciurus_vulgaris1944d ago

It would make more money as a non-VR title with optional VR aspects.

Traecy1944d ago

Basically what I stated.

DarkKaine1944d ago

No worries. I'm sure modders will make a patch to play it without VR in a matter of days.

QuePasa871944d ago

I wish this was just a normal title. I really want to play this on a nice Index headset but it's so expensive :(

Duke191944d ago

VR isnt for me, but ill admit the gameplay looks damn impressive

I might get one in a couple years but I’m in no hurry. Nothing at launch I want to play.

GotGame81825m ago

60 fps Switch games with higher resolution makes it worth it to me.

PRIMORDUS15h ago

If there are no shortages then why can't we just easily order a Switch 2 online, from Best Buy, Target, Newegg, Amazon etc. No shortages means we can get it by any means, online or in store.

shinXseijuro17h ago

Maybe there’s shortages in Japan ? But they’re pretty much available lol

shinXseijuro17h ago

But hey saying that creates more hype right !

Good-Smurf2h ago(Edited 2h ago)

There isn't one in US, I saw plenty posting pictures of it many stores in still have plenty in stock.
This is just them referring to stock situation mostly in Japan.
Sounds like he low key also spreading FOMO pressuring people to go out and buy one for no good reason?
It's not exactly flying off the shelves here in Thailand though, there's basically no real hype here at all other than the fanboys lining up for it the first few days.
You can easily order one right now in Thailand from all the official authorized stores, not out of stock at all.
The price of 17800 THB or around 550 USD here for a standard SKU and high game prices probably has a lot to do with it.

Ten Years Later - Still Going Strong: Dying Light: Retouched Update Releasing June 26

Hey Survivors! Tymon here, your favorite Dying Light Franchise Director.

It's been an absolutely wild month here at Techland! We're in the thick of what I'm calling the "Summer of Dying Light," delivering updates and big news across all three Dying Light games. Just a few weeks ago, we dropped the first gameplay for Dying Light: The Beast, revealed its release date, and kicked off pre-orders (if you haven't seen it, check out my last dev blog). I'm incredibly proud of what we're building with The Beast - it’s the culmination of more than 10 years of experience in open-world survival horror!

But here's the thing: we never forget where we came from. That's why, this week, we're not just looking forward - we're rolling out significant updates for both the original Dying Light and Dying Light 2: Stay Human. We promised to support our games for a long time, and we're committed to continuing that support, right through and beyond the launch of Dying Light: The Beast.
