That is interesting. Clouded Leopard Entertainment is a Asia focused publisher that dealt with some ports of the Ys franchise before. And is currently working on the Trails of Cold Steel ports for PC.

What is weird about them. Is that only a couple of their ports are sold globally. For example for the Trails of Cold Steel series they can only sell to Korea and China. As the NISA and XSEED have the rights for the rest of the world.

So while this is a nice announcement in itself. It really means nothing to us in the west. Because while I can't confirm it there is a change that their version is not going to be used by NISA or XSEED if they pick up the tittle.

This is the sequel to Trails of Cold Steel IV. It's already released on PS4 in Japan. Released like August. Then the one after this game was already announced for PS4/PS5 in japan which also releases I believe Summer 2021. Switch and PC are an entire game behind essentially

The PS4 version came out August 2020.

I second that, it's a humble series from a humble studio. Really looking forward to cold steel 4.

I must say “deserved” is understated, this dev team uses an epic in-house orchestra. This dev team loves their fans and I feel they need more love reciprocated.
