Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 3 Remake will be the fifth entry in the series to receive an iOS port for Apple devices.
Because the headset isn't capable of running it simply put it's not powerful enough.
Look at metro awakening on quest 3 that's pushing it to its extreme and it's quite far behind PC and PS for graphical capabilities.
For whatever reason and despite all evidence to the contrary, their are some companies bent on convincing themselves and others that people want to play premium games on Apple devices.
It's assumed apple is paying for the ports. Apple probably paid a lump sum for all the RE games so capcom is just finishing up the contract.
Or maybe Capcom sees this as port practice for the switch 2 or these ports are what the switch 2 versions will be?

PS Plus Extra and Premium are set to lose 9 games in March, 2025, including Capcom's survival-horror game, Resident Evil 3.
Out with the old in with the new. Some decent games here but nothing that couldn't be grabbed for a fiver or less if you wanted to keep playing.
Ps plus library pick-up games have been great lately so can't be upset losing these when we are getting stuff like gow Ragnarok or the man who erased his name even the classics have been good lately
Animal Crossing, RE3 and FF7 are all I'm looking forward to right now to start off 2020, been a slow year with DBZ Kakarot and Darksiders Genesis etc type games releasing in the first few months.
So happy they've included the deimos and what looks like the worm boss. Was disappointed by the lack of creatures in the re2 remake.
From those screen shots it looks rather barren compared to the original, I know they were just 2d back drops but there was so much going on in each scene, it looked chaotic, a shit tonne of rubble and glass and bits n peices strewn about everywhere. I hope they put more in there.
Hey remember when Capcom was convinced Resident Evil needed to basically be an action game through and through in order to sell; and now they're bending over backwards to give us straight up horror games, and remakes of all the classics?
