There's no denying that Blizzard broke some promises with Warcraft III: Reforged, but the core gameplay remains solid.
is the exact same plague of lazyness and cheapness that runs through Blizzard since Burning Crusade because the Activision merge ....that malady is apparent in many games from this company like in COD , Overwatch Diablo 3,,All the WoW expansions (only the vanilla was good) , the Crash remake etcetc... ..the thing is that people denied to see it and only with W3 reforged reacted because the W3 had strong elitistic community when people cried out that Diablo 3 was BS or the WOW expansions were at least garbage nobody cared ...now that knife reached the bone they reacted but they r late
I agree with everything regarding blizzard, but Wc3r is not a bad game. The new models are beautiful and the servers are populated again.
COD and Crash are fantastic games. People bitch about them all the time and yet, here we are still enjoying both of them.
thegamer.com has to be one the worst out there.
Yes, let's defend a multi billion dollar company. This kind of thinking is exactly why EVERYONE keeps getting shafted. Can't have nice things
A company being worth billions doesn't automatically make them bad. This line of thinking is short-sighted at best. It's what those companies do that determine whether they should be defended or not Having said that, Activision has destroyed one of the greatest game developers of all time and neither of them should be defended right now. Warcraft 3 Reforged is garbage and they deserve to be sued for false advertising a product that they didn't deliver.
The core gameplay remains "Solid" because it's exactly the same game from old Blizzard. The game isn't bad but it's not as good as it could have been. The only good thing about Reforged was the art design and remodeling which Blizzard outsourced to an overseas company so literally, the only good thing in Reforged is the one thing Blizzard had no part of. Then Blizzard had the audacity to strip away features from the original game and used less animations. Everything they did was literally the laziest, cheapest thing to do for maximum profit purely on company and name brand recognition. This was a pure cash grab. You can tell that a suit and tie made these decisions, the Blizzard of old would have axed this thing in the head and buried it in a 100ft hole before even considering releasing this thing in the state that its in.
"Had no part of"... they paid for it didn't they?
These are the articles Blizzard loves. People shilling for their garbage ass product.
Can't support blizzard anymore.
Would think that the issue was that the game released was not the game advertised.
What? *sees website name* Okay that makes sense.
It's saying shit like this that makes them think that what they are doing is ok and acceptable. Stop enabling their laziness.
Cutting content and options for the old game, because of a remaster is just too much for me. And I invested like 7.000 hours in Warcraft 3.
omg thegamer.com sucks so bad. Do yourself a favor and find real jobs instead of coming up with pathetic clickbait.
It's not bout the gameplay being "solid", It was always going to be. It's Warcraft III. It's about the company's actions, broken promises, lies, TERRIBLE Terms of Service, and cutting/restricting content in the old game to push people to buy this new one.
