PM Studios is bringing the futuristic open-world parkour game Hover to Nintendo Switch as a physical release on March 9.
The October Games with Gold lineup is here!
I havent played Code Veronica since the Dreamcast. I assume this is that but in HD?
Damn, I just bought code name Veronica. Lol. I was eyeballing the Castlevania game due to the recent Tokyo Gameshow Sale, but I guess I’ll just get it here instead.
The Humble Plug In Digital & Dear Villagers Bundle is out now. It features games like Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter, Dead in Vinland, Hover, and more.
Author writes "The genre has become so popular that it's easy to overlook many open world games, so here are some underappreciated ones that deserve your attention."
So many great memories playing these games! Kingdom of Amular:Reckoning was awesome and with THQ Nordic buying the IP back I'm hopeful we'll get a remaster and a sequel!
Dragons Dogma was another last gen treasure! I loved the Japanese take on Western staples and merging them with Shadow of the Colossus esque gameplay mechanics on top of great creature designs and a beautiful world!
Second Son was cool enough but hopefully one day SP revisits it with Cole battling The Beast who it turns out was Deslin. Sunset Overdrive was cool I just wish someone else owned it so we'd get a sequel. Dying Light is great especially The Following and I love how at night it gets super dangerous!
I've never heard of Hover so I'll check it out.
Some of these I don't think should be here, mostly Dying Light since it has sold more then 13 million copies.
Dragons Dogma is an amazing game, and something more open world games should look at, it's class diversity and combat was the best in it's genre,
I also think Gravity Rush should be here, it's a super good game.
Kingdoms of Amalur and Dragon's Dogma were fantastic, too bad it doesn't look like we will ever get proper sequels. KoA probably has the higher chance after being bought by THQ but I'm not holding my breath until something is revealed.
Man this game had such promise, but the level design is garbage, it's just such a clusterf@ck. It's like cramming Jet Set Radio gameplay in a map from Deus Ex Human Revolution
