Despite Bandai Namco shooting down the idea of a Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot switch port prior to launch, it's worth wondering if the port is possible.
Honestly, I don't see why not. It'll definitely take a hit in the graphics department, but we have The Witcher 3 on the Switch so... there's very few games that can claim validation for not having a Switch Port other than just not wanting to do a separate version which is a perfectly valid point. ^_^'
Unless the game requires special hardware. It should run on the Switch, the issue however is how many compromises in visuals, performance and/or gameplay the studio/publisher is willing to make in order to make the port happen.
Anything is possible if a developer is willing to put in the leg work.
It's coming. They did the same thing with the fighting game where they said there were no plans on a Switch port. They want to maximize sales on other platforms before they announce it for Switch.
I'm sick of hearing "is it possible?" If games like Witcher 3, doom, etc have all been brought to the switch then I believe a good number of games can. It all comes down to it the studios though.
