Rune Factory 4 Special Review – A Small Slice Of Life

Rune Factory is a series with humble origins that started as a spin-off to the, then called, Harvest Moon series. In fact, the first game’s full title was Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon. However, over time the series was able to branch away from being just a spin off and find an identity to call its own.

Meh. I'll be purchasing & playing SF6, Diablo 4 & FFXVI for the month of June.

Snookies12759d ago (Edited 759d ago )

Agreed that SF6 and FFXVI are going to be amazing. I just refuse to support Blizzard in any way. Never touching Diablo again despite putting thousands of hours into previous iterations.

Who cares about spending £70 for a single game like Street Fighter 6 or Diablo IV when you can get a bunch of titles like Stacking, Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 and the Big Con for free?

MadLad759d ago

@venom

Why did you make a point to avoid the obvious highlights of the list?
And you do realize you can buy the big new releases and still enjoy the varied experiences that subscriptions offer, eh?

__SteakDeck__759d ago (Edited 759d ago )

@MadLad 😂 There are no “highlights” on this list. Stop coping. Gamepass is mid right now until September.

Slayers X and Amnesia the Bunker (please be better than Rebirth) I'm really excited to try.
Already own Rune Factory, but great game.

Remember really liking Stacking back in the day. Might be time to give it another go.

Stacking is a great little game. Super unique.

This is one budget-tier list of games. A lot of this stuff is barely a step above RPG maker.

It's pretty sad that game pass has reached the point where Chicory a game made by just a couple of people is the highlight game. And that's not to say it's a bad game (it is basic as all get out) but this is some seriously low budget filler.

Pretty much all these games are made by similarly small teams, this may be the least value month they have ever offered.

If this is all they can afford to pass out I don't know how they expect to fund development for for all these studios they now own. I guess that's why they have the media hyping up low-budget crap like Hi-Fi Rush and Pentament, games they can crap out cheaply.

Behold the future of game pass.
