They are not obligated to do so imo. If a developer wants to take it seriously and delve into realistic subject matter that’s fine. If they want to be completely unrealistic for the sake of fun then that’s fine too but let’s not pretend it’s at someone else’s expense. That’s new culture garbage.
First it was gender, now we moving onto mental health. You do realise this is for entertainment purposes and not for education and not a tool for rahabilitation or in asisting therapy to mental health. Its all fiction. Lets not try and "Kotaku/Polygon" this up ay?
No. Nor do films. TV shows. Otherwise people would be more educated and not use the term "mental health" as a blanket term.
