WTMG's Leo Faria: "The best thing that can be said about Rugby 20 is that it’s almost the rugby game we’ve been waiting for all these years. Yes, it’s ugly as sin and it suffers from a lack of licensed teams from the Southern Hemisphere, but it’s functional, relatively glitch-free (aside from the hideous animations), and above all, fun to play. It’s a step in the right direction, a solid foundation from which Eko Software can improve upon, just like Big Ant did with their AO Tennis series."
Pennyworth Reviews writes: It's not terrible or great, but it's all we have.
XBA says: Rugby 20 may not be at the same level as other sports games, but they tried.
James writes - "There’s arguably no better time to release a new game to satiate the needs of both long-time rugby fans and newcomers, especially with the 2020 Six Nations Championship currently underway. Stepping onto the field and into the limelight is Rugby 20, but can it capitalise on the buzz still surrounding the sport?"
