The Indie Game Website writes: "Kickstarter backers have endured quite the wait for this road sign platformer to make it out into the wild, but with the new decade upon us, The Pedestrian has finally geared up for launching on Steam later this week. Ever wondered what the little bathroom sign guy gets up to when nobody’s around? Well, Skookum Arts have explored that Toy Story-like concept and I am pleased to report that it has made for some pretty good results."
Diana writes: "By focusing on a small selection of set mechanics and interrogating what can be done with them in two dimensions, alongside its visual clarity and direction, The Pedestrian creates a polished and self-contained little game that’s well worth setting aside an evening to explore."
Neil writes: "There are many who complain that the gaming industry is stale; that the same old games are being pumped out at a rate of knots. But then up pop games like The Pedestrian on Xbox and Game Pass, immediately closing down the conversation."
The Pedestrian is an ace collection of puzzles thematically linked by some very clever set dressing as you traverse 3D environments via 2D puzzles. It's really quite good. Get on it.
