Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind Review – A Series Of Letdowns | Game Informer

You really have to dig for the fun in Re Mind, because it’s buried in all this content you’ve already played.

Wait really? I mean I know GameInformer is wildly out of touch but from what I've been seeing the DLC addresses alot of criticism from the base game.

Yeah but its a reminder of things that should have been in the game, especially for the price they are asking.

Yeah, and it's too bad it costs half as much as the game did at launch. Or are we not upset that we are charged for DLC to fix a poor game? If it were free, that'd be different.

I'm not buying it after playing KH3, I was so let down by the game.

I can't see why it would matter if one plays it or not. The finale came. We know the ending. Knowing the stuff to fill in the many, many, many unresolved plot lines introduced over the years seems pointless, because most of those plot lines were pretty pointless to Sora's journey anyhow.

So I have a review going out soon that's much higher than this, but my opinion on the DLC is split in two. Yes, the game miraculously fixed many story elements and adds amazing set pieces and battles. However, with these clarifications, fixes, and even small retcons, it's INCREDIBLY apparent how the content in this add-on should have been in the base game. So does it fix things for those who were disappointed with the nonsensical story? Yes. Is it a sequel expansion? No. Should it have been included in the base game? Unbelievably yes.

Imagine my shock when I found out the dlc for a bad game is bad. The shock!

I know its crazy they shouldve focus on more of yozora.... i hope next entry does that

For those on the fence, the dlc offered absolutely nowhere near $30 worth of content when you compare it to many other expansion passes on the market. Borderlands, Witcher & Dying Light immediately come to mind. In my opinion the Game Informer reviewer actually undersold how minuscule this content actually is.

I was dissapointed with kingdom hearts 3. I was expecting an open world to explore base on Disney's universe. Instead, we got different planets based on each Disney character (only a few) in the game, and it was linear as hell. You can literally just run against the wall, and find your way to where your suppose to go - to continue the story. You couldn't explore anything. Each planet story was also small. Also no ff characters. The game was a total let down.

I'll go and skip this "dlc".
