Welcome to the Fantasy Zone! It’s Sega Ages!
CCG Writes - "Fantasy Zone is a game where you control a cute little spaceship called "Opa-Opa" and shoot all sorts of things on a free-scrolling screen until a boss shows up. The screen then enters a fixed-scroll mode as you trade fire with the boss until you take it down and can head to the next level. The game ends after the final level, which has a boss rush from all the previous levels and a final boss."
With original, time attack, and Upa-Upa modes to choose from and a number of unlockables to work toward, SEGA AGES Fantasy Zone makes the return trip to Opa-Opa's world a worthwhile one for those itching for some arcade action.
CCG writes - "Overall, if you liked the original Shinobi, this is likely going to tide you over nicely, especially if you play it hand-held on a road trip. From a moral standpoint, not too bad aside from the violence aspect, and for an arcade game, it's pretty sterile at that."
