IEAA Release Interactive Australia 2007 Report

The Interactive Entertainment Association of Australia (IEAA) has released the Interactive Australia 2007 report, which look at trends amongst gaming by surveying homes accross Australia. The results listed in the report are taken from 1,606 households and 3,386 individuals and found that women and older gamers are the fastest growing audience for games. Among other things it also found that 62% of Australians also say that the rating handed out by the OFLC has no affect on their purchases. It also notes the average Australian Gamer is 28 years old.
