Dead Space 2: Severed is the culmination of a whole varied canon of wonderful sci-fi stories, which was abandoned in Dead Space 3. But that's OK.
It’s weird, that it was never released on the PC.
Yup. Played it on PC. Dead Space 1 and 2 are some of my all time favorite games. Didn't even know this was a thing.
I love Dead Space and I don't remember this either.
Would love to see these remastered or a continuation of the series. I loved the comic short series they had to add to the story.
Played it. A remaster of all things Dead Space would be welcomed by me. DS1 & 2 had such a great campaign.
And the atmosphere was crazy good. I doubt we will ever see a remaster tho. Im open to being wrong.
Agreed. Dead Space and Dead Space 2 are a couple of my all time favs.
I would have thought that the success of RE re-masters would have convinced EA to remaster these for the next gen machines.
It's EA remember lol. Mind boggles why no remake
Plus VR combatability
Its also very short giving the price and such.
Sheeeeiiit. I’m one of the nut jobs that got that achievement for beating the game on the hardest difficulty with only using three saves for the entire run. I hope to play more Dead Space again before I’m old and full of arthritis!
I did it too on three save for the entire run! Hope we get to play Dead Space again.
I remember doing Severed day one. It was actually a direct sequel to Dead Space: Extraction (Gabe & Lexine). Being that Extraction came free with DS2, throwing a coin to finish the fight was a no-brainer.
A little off topic but the Dead Space graphic novel was surprisingly great. I'd definitely recommend it for fans of the series. Also look out for an absolutely hilarious typo in one of the character's bios, where they list him as an affiliate of Scientology. No, not Unitology, the cult mentioned throughout Dead Space lore, and the one the story revolves around. Scientology. XD
Not a comic guy, but was interested in it. Never got around to it though.
I have that one! Image comics, by Johnston & Templesmith? Hardcover. I’mma go downstairs and take a look........ Ha! You’re right! Never noticed that in near 12yrs! Couple pages in, snuck into the tiny print of Hanford Peter George laSalle Carthusia. Wealthy family of bankers, 3 gens Church of Scientology with one member an overseer. Good catch!
This a franchise that should be brought back, Dante’s inferno should have a sequel as well. Hello EA are u listening.
