Yakuza Online and Idola: Phantasy Star Saga have reached a combined pre-registration milestone in Japan, so players are getting some free goodies.
Would it really be that much of a money sink, with risk of not making the money back, to make a console version of a title like this? Just remove the gotcha elements, make a single decent mainline story playthrough, then sell additional sub stories or campaigns as DLC. Surely there has to be a big enough, if not as profitable as gotcha BS but then what is, for that.
