Hopefully it will be as janky and antiquated as the base game.
Damn. I meant to say "consistent and truthful to the series".

You mean ex Shenmue fan who finds it laughable that the creator managed to do nothing to move the series forward after 20 years, and 2 sequels.

It's me. What's up?

Shenmue paid DLC and season passes. Kind of ridiculous.

And Cruz, you can not like the game. But no one cares if you don't.

Apparently me not liking the game caused you to respond in a fairly aggressive, arrogant fashion. So there's that.

And I never once called the game "bad". I said it was janky and antiquated. I said it was laughable that the creator hasn't found a way to move the series forward after 20 years. None of this, as far as I go, is false. Nothing I've said has been fought, just down votes and a snippy response from you.

Dlc... really? Get to work on Shenmue 4!!! Smh..

With what? All of the money was spent on Shenmue 3. If you want a 4th game, then they need to find ways with making more money.

I was a huge fan of the Dreamcast series. Playing them multiple times, owning 2 on Xbox and again when the collection came out. When Shenmue 3 was announced, I was legitimately excited and couldn't wait for its release. After numerous delays, finally it comes out.

I was afraid because I saw that after 18 years of waiting, it didn't look like it progressed. So I waited for reviews. But knowing that some reviewers are biased, I went and purchased it.

I have to say, I am very dissapointed. It felt like Ryo Hazuki forgot how to defend himself considering the way he would get his a** kicked numerous times. The main quest moves you learn wouldn't knock anyone out, other than just throw them off balance yet that's how it was used. The only thing that kept me going was the fact that I wanted to know what happened next, and quite frankly, nothing really happened.

The game felt shallow, lazy. I feel like I spent too many hours training and maxing out all my stats for a very anti clamactic ending a-la shenmue 2.

This DLC doesn't inspire any of the previous excitement felt for the news of the third release. Why not expand on the story? End the shenmue series on a good note. The fans deserve way better. Nostalgia alone just doesn't cut it. Shenmue 3 felt like a DLC to shenmue 2 and now I see it as a cash grab attempt.

18 years, waiting, for this. Wtf.
