Xenoblade X is fantastic. Sadly I read last month Monolith wont bring it to Switch. That game needs to come to Switch or Switch 2. Switch 2 would be able to make everything better looking, on a already fantastic looking game. Not that Switch 2 has been announced.

100% agree, Xenoblade X is the main game I want brought to the switch, it would be perfect for it. I have its on wiiu but its a long game and would be great to play it anytime.

I thought I read there is going to be a Wonderful 102....? And it would likely include the first game like how Bayo 2 included Bayo 1.

I’m surprised they haven’t remastered more GameCube, Wii & 3DS titles for the system yet

I really wanted them to have some kind of cartridge/USB C adapter that would allow you to slot your old 3DS/DS carts into the Switch and then just have the console emulate them. Given they've done very, very little with the older handheld titles, they could make a decent amount (and earn some goodwill) for just selling that bit of hardware. And giving you a way to play your existing games, even if just "as is", shouldn't hurt their port sales much if they opt for more. People who would want native controls or HD/upscaled textures would surely buy the remaster/port.

Switch doesn’t have dual screens so it wouldn’t be able to have a simple emulator.

Remastered 3DS games would have to be reworked to function on Switch

They could do a lot of things. They could split the screen in half, and let you choose to have them be displayed either next to each other, or turn the console sideways and have them emulate the top/bottom screen like the 3DS.

You could also have the option to hide one of the displays, assuming one of them wasn't necessary. A lot of games ended up not really using the second screen for more than like a map/inventory/etc typed use case. They could perhaps even let you tap a button to swap from one to the other if the hidden screen was only occasionally necessary to view.

There are plenty of ways to display 3DS games on the Switch, and it seems it would be pretty easy to let the users dictate which way they like best by giving a small suite of display options.

Not really viable, especially considering you have to account how would you be able to play these dual screen games on docked mode, especially when many of them feature touch controls.

I just want Xenoblade X and Wonderful 101. Such great games, XCX has one of the best open worlds ever. W101 is one of PGs best games.
