IGN: Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa PS2 Review

IGN writes: "I suppose a young gamer might get a kick out of this one if he or she is really into the Madagascar movies, but the bland gameplay and awkward structure do very little to provide an enjoyable experience. The best thing I can say about Escape is that nothing seems broken or fundamentally flawed, but that's not saying much. No matter how you look at it, Escape 2 Africa just isn't a good game. You'd be better served by diverting your attention to the virtually countless, fantastic titles that have hit retail in the last few months. Leave Alex and co. on the shelf."

TTFF: Madagascar 2 Review

TTFF:

"All in all, Madagascar 2 packs a lot of fun for all ages. The
characters' personalities and comments keep it lively and the variety
of challenges and games keep the game play fun. Even though we haven't
been out to see the movie yet, we found the game very enjoyable and it
has increased anticipation to see the movie although it may have also
allowed us to wait a little longer since we have the game to entertain
us for now."
