2020 looks to be a great year in RPGs, but it's sure to have some hits and misses. These are our most and least anticipated games of the year.
Netto's Game Room explains how the Xenoblade titles are connected to each other; from Xenoblade Chronicles, to the newly released Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition, and even Xenogears and Xenosaga.
1 - 3 are connected. Idk if X is connected since I haven't beaten the epilogue in X yet. X will probably be connected.
Many games have come and gone as gaming began its illustrious history in this world. So let's talk about the top 100 video games of all time!
CGMagazine narrowed down some of the best reviews of the year to name our top 10 games, and ultimately CGMs Game of the Year 2024!
Tales of Arise is going to be awesome!!!
Trails of Mana looks pretty good too.
FF 7 remake is no-brainer.
Xenoblade Chronicles was truly an underrated gem on the Wii U. It's amazing that the game is being remade/remastered.
"Anime fans - particularly those who count themselves gamers - have regarded Sword Art Online as one of the more imaginative and entertaining shows in recent history"
Oof, only the most casual of casual anime fans even consider Sword Art Online good. Much less "one of the more imaginative and entertaining shows in recent history". Sorry, I had to stop reading there at the sheer ignorance at that sentence.
At least the creators of Digimon plan on adding more Digimon to their game and not removing any. Also, calling it a knockoff of Pokemon is selling it short. It's a decent series that rests on its own merits, thank you. It's also doubtful that Bandai Namco see it as much of a competitor since they still don't think the series is mainstream enough to warrant a dub (which is making it hard to recommend to certain friends and family). Granted, that's still voice acting the Pokemon series doesn't have.
I'm looking forward to Trials Of Mana, Xenoblade Chronicles (have this on 3DS but never finished it), Rune Factory 4 and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. I know that's alot of remakes/remasters, but I missed some of those games the first time around and still want to play them.
I'm wary of the FF7 remake, the demo leak has made worried about if I'll like the combat, it's worse than I thought it would be (might feel different after I personally play the demo). Tales Of Arise looks terrible to me, so I'll probably pass on that depending on what else they show about the game before release. Digimon Survive looks good, but I don't think I'll play it anyway.
Surprised that Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 didn't get a mention. That and Cyberpunk 2077 are going to dominate 2020 IMHO
