Daedlic Entertainment has confirmed that its upcoming Lord of the Rings game that focuses solely on Gollum, will be coming to the Xbox Series X and PS5 in 2021.
Well, it WAS confirmed for next gen platforms in a vague statement before. So this makes sense. As does the PS5.
Should be native 4K / 60 FPS on Series X
Pretty sure it will be on both consoles
Who said anything about exclusive?
If it wasn't on both consoles, I think we should have a problem. Xbox One X already does 4k30fps, 60fps should be the next jump here. Or at least options between 60fps and 30fps on both consoles by default.
@ cyber_daemonx and those sales affect you how?
I never even heard of this game til a few days ago. I am always game for a new experience in Mordor though
Seems like it's also releasing on other platforms as well.
No doubt it will be on PS5 too, which is where I’ll be playing it if the game turns out well.
Exclusive Game???? Wait, another misleading title... Its confirmed in everything that play games...
Trueachievements is an Xbox website. Obviously they're not going to mention PS5 in the title.
Where does it say exclusive?
I'm up for lotr , as long as like I'm not playing as the creature gollum as my main char.
gollum is the main character in this game, except they are saying it’s a prequel to the books when he was becoming gollum
Like all games from that company it will look like a ps3 game anyway.
AND also coming to PS5..... strange that's not included in the title.
Probably because the site its from is an xbox orientated site from what I understand so it kind of makes sense that they wouldn't mention PS, its like when an article is from a PS centric site and they don't mention any other consoles
It make sense!
I'm gonna be that guy and say why no switch version? They have a 50 million lead on next gen dont forget.
Everything and anything related to the Xbox One. News, reviews, previews, rumors, screenshots, videos and more.
Crawling around in the dirt? Sounds fun ffs....
XBA says: Not quite the precious game we were hoping for to rule them all.
Ppl are still reviewing this garbage? You reviewed a game that was already well known to be trash, and yet gave it a score that everyone knew it would be. Day late dollar short buddy!
Given how buggy it was at launch, I don't see the issue with evaluating after its major patches have released. Also, can we just drop this notion of being late to the party? You see a game, you play the game, and you review the game. It doesn't have to be more complicated than that.
Gollum has a nice 20 player counter average over the last 30 days.
A precious few, one might say. ;)
