From the writer; ‘The game is addictive and the perfect thing to play when you want some time to chill. The strategy aspect of the game is very challenging but at the same time, it’s manageable. After playing Dawn of Man, I went and splashed some cash on Civilisation and honestly, I still go back to Dawn of Man often. It is the perfect mix of everything this genre has to offer, and I highly recommend it.’
Gareth writes: "Dawn of Man on Xbox One is a strong entry in the RTS console market. Like all great games of this type, there are hours and hours of gameplay to be found within, not to mention the extra challenges on offer and specific hardcore option for the lunatics. What I love about games like this though is that you can easily create your own personal narratives with every single playthrough rather than being delivered a set story or campaign."
Karl writes: - The main aim of the game is to reach certain Milestones through your civilization. Starting pretty easy with accomplishments like “survive 2 years” or “get 20 people in your settlement” you’ll think you’re on the steam train to a platinum trophy… but as you get stuck further into it, you’ll realize it’s not a game you can rush through. I’ve been playing a couple of hours each night for almost a week and still haven’t completed the first “level”! Okay, so maybe I spent a lot of time just enjoying watching my people thrive rather than trying to progress but I’ve been adamant that I’ll beat this map for a couple of evenings now and it’s taking it’s time to get anywhere.
