I wish i had your fortitude. I buy games even with a backlog because they're too tempting to me. I have gotten better about waiting for sales though but i still end up buying them.

I don't have children or a SO to buy anything for so it's not like i'm irresponsible with the money but i definitely spend more than i need to on video games.

Honestly it's not that great.... I've got TONS of games and my backlog this time around is the worst it's ever been in all my years of gaming. I try really hard to not buy games as well but when they're cheap (like $20) it's so hard to pass them up good ones or ones I've put on a list of wants... as soon as they get down there I feel obligated sometimes to get them even though I know I have a ton to play. I want to get all the Yakuza games to get them on the same platform, so I've got 4 of them and now waiting for #3-5. Resident Evil 3 and Ghost of Tsushima are the only games I'm getting now until PS5. I'll still be playing probably all the Yakuzas by the time the next system is here but that's ok. Pushing Cyberpunk to PS5 and skipping FFVII Remake until part 2. I need to start being smarter as well :) A few times I get a game I know I wanted but by the time I finally get to it it's already half off. Got Resident Evil 2 on Black Friday instead of day 1 because of the backlog so progress has been made

Ah okay I guess we're in the same boat. It's tough holding off on a game when you don't know if the sale will ever be there again and you may have to hunt for it if nobody carries it later.

Civ 6 just came out last month and Tropico 6 not too long ago either. It was a close battle but Civ won in the end. Plus the expansion bundle is half off too? Basically got a “complete edition” for the cost of the full game. Love a good strategy game and Civ has never let me down.

I bought all kinds of shit strange brigade for 12 bucks wolfenstein 2 for 12 bucks elex for 17 bucks how to survive 2 for 5 bucks. Got more just cant remember everything lol

$10 off Star Wars meh I’m a big Star Wars fan and the new game looks pretty decent but it’s EA 2-3 months it’ll be peanuts. Half the price rather than 10-20% discount.
