I mean.. games used to come included with both single player and multiplayer components.. i don't see why this is a surprise.. unless we've come to the point where both are sold separately now at full price.. then we have a problem.. let's hope it doesn't become that... however i do like if they split the cost of a full packaged game and sold me the single player component for half the price.. i'm all for that lol
I am suprised because Resident Evil 3 Nemesis was originally just a single player game. Resident Evil 2 and the recent Remake is also single player. When Resident Evil 5 came out as just a single player or Co operative online. But then later Mercenaries was introduced with a payment. I am all for RE3. I think its great that they are doing it and being so soon is a suprise. Its just this multiplayer mode I can just see the nickle and diming is coming in with weapons and specific characters etc. but like I said prove me wrong Capcom. Show me your sincerity in the continuation in mending your reputation.
Seems to me they are only adding this in with RE3 as it'd barely sell otherwise... asymmetric MP really isn't my thing, but I'm sure RE3 will be just fine.

Sounds good to me. Capcom made such a big turnaround and went back to producing high quality games
Free is good and it's the only way I'd get this game. Now RE3 , shit I'm down with it and RE2 all day long!
Why couldn't they call this Resident Evil Outbreak, and have people believe they are getting two remakes in one package
