This weekend's list of console deals brings a whole slew of crazy good sales on a large variety of games, including pre-order deals on games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Marvel's Avengers.
CYBER SECURITY CONNECT writes: "Relative ransomware newcomers have claimed to have succeeded in what could be a devastating ransomware attack on global entertainment giant Sony.
Ransomed.vc has only been operating since September, despite some links to previous forums and groups. However, in that time, the group has racked up an impressive number of victims – and Sony is one of them."
Admin note: This may or may not have anything to do with PlayStation specifically, but as they claim to have hacked 'all of Sony systems' we'll include it as part of the rumor and allow it on N4G until it is made more clear the level of information obtained.
Cool hope we get some info on Sony's future gaming plans like the FTC leak MS gaming plans.
CG writes: Whilst there is no doubt the upcoming expansion Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is the real deal (based on current gaming media reviews), parts of the recent update 2.0 feels a little underwhelming in the grand scheme (trying hard not to complain too much about free stuff). In-a-way, with all the big-talk surrounding it, feels like some kind of psy ops. Let's explore why we think that way especially as Cyberpunk 2077 is one of our favourite games of all time with close to 1000 hours invested. Don't misunderstand us, the free update is welcome and does improve parts of the game way beyond the original release, but being critical we have some reservations.
Don’t preorder with Gamestop!! Not sure if it’s true or not but people I know that work for them say they are hearing they will be closing all stores sometime after the first of the year!!
