I loved the architecture and lighting. Usually I prefer more gritty worlds like GOW, HZD etc but Control and even Neir don't have that but they have a different kind of detail and I appreciate it.

For some reason, open world survival games are not getting good ratings this gen by critics. Personally, I have found all the major open world survival games really fun. Deadrising 3/4, Dying Light, State of Decay 2, and Days Gone.

So no Resident evil 2 and no DMC5
And always find it funny that everybody loves Control but when the previous game was exclusive to MS (Quantum break) it was such a mediocre game while having all the core components of Control.

I loved RE2 but I've never gotten into DmC. I tried with the original and then 4. They are not bad games at all. High production values just not my thing.

See a lot of folks on here shit all over games they say they don't like. Not saying you but many do. I may give part 5 a go through but I'll wait until it's on sale just in case I don't like it.
