Except Mass Effect is actually good (the original trilogy).

The one review I have found for this game is not exactly glowing:

'This game fails at almost everything it sets out to do. With janky animations, embarrassing story, awful combat mechanics, and horrible enemy layouts and AI, there's just not much positive to say about it.'

its an indie game, kinda, on their website it says 5 people and a dozend of freelancers. So yeah quite impressive

They should have spent more time on her butt. Looks flat, separated and weird.

You know what? I remember thinking the same way when I first played Mass Effect 1 last year. I was like "What a clunky piece of shit this game is, animations suck, movement sucks, AI sucks"

It's amazing how a game with so many flaws still became for me the best experiences I have enjoy so far. How story and characters totally crush everything else in such a way that is not just acceptable, is a fucking master piece.

Yes you are right, Mass Effect is actually good. Just wanted to pint out as I remember myself trash talking ME1 at the beginning. (Yes, I only came to play the trilogy last year for the first time.)

nice review, thanks, might still pick it up on the cheap sometime

Is anyone really surprised? Like, REALLY surprised? The articles on this game before it came out kept talking it up, but the gameplay videos spoke for themselves.
