As part of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint ver 1.03.1, Ubisoft gives Ghosts access to previously microtransaction gear for free.
Shuhei Yoshida offers his take on the recent industry implosion and ponders whether there's light at the end of the tunnel.
It's also screwing over gamers with limited budgets for PC hardware, well Nvidia is trying to at least.
OK, but what did Shu do about this while he was working in the industry?
If he felt so strongly about it, why didn't he quit sooner?
I'm honestly getting a bit tired of seeing this guy come out with all this stuff, week after week, yet he didn't seem to do anything about it when he was a prominent figure IN the industry.
*I got passed over for the CEO role and sidelined into an Indies CRM role, but I just sucked it up and did it for several years.* Great.
The team goes hands-on with the awesome SWORL leverless controllers at PAX and are ready to place some orders
Neil Druckmann, the creative director of The Last of Us, is working on a new, unannounced game at Naughty Dog.
Wait I thought they cancelled a game? Or did they announce another project?

Too late. Do companies really expect positive publicity from scrounging people then, once they made their money, going back on it?
It's just disrespectful and shows they view their customers as suckers.
I guess Ubisoft finally reached their....breaking point. I accept all forms of donations.
I like the game. I stopped playing because far too many games came out soon after, but I will definitely go back to it soon, especially since they're making better. The current Ubisoft seems to want to fix things, this wouldn't have been the case a few years ago. This game will only get better imo.
This is why I keep telling gamers the importance of voting with your wallet. If this game was a financial success and still a critical failure I doubt they would of changed anything, as long as people keep buying they are going to do whatever they want this game's failure sent the message loud and clear.
That’s very generous. Thank you Ubisoft.
