Barely playable is a bit of an overstatement. I remember how buggy it was when it first came out and I still managed to play it. I remember it crashed a bit, but nothing was game breaking for me.

I'm disappointed. They seemed to have turned Johnny Silver-hand into a vampire. They say they are using VTM 5e rules, but there seems to be no actual roleplaying. The gameplay reveal was the same warehouse over and over again. The devs didn't try to get to know the goth community it seems nor do they have any experience beyond playing Bloodlines and even then they were not competent enough to understand what made that game great, let alone understand the TTRPG.
