The Age of Empires II Definitive Edition file size has been revealed for this latest remastered release in the RTS series with the Microsoft Store coming in at a fairly decent file size.
Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition celebrates the 25th anniversary of one of the most popular strategy games ever, and is now coming to PlayStation 5.
Microsoft gaming is treating playstation players so far. Age of mythology has been great on playstation. Looking forward to Forza end of the month. Indiana I'll get once it's cheaper, Doom I might get next month and I'm definitely going to get this on release I have loved age of empires since the first one on pc.
This is if it's real elderscrolls 4 remake would be great. Do wish they'd just reveal it already if it exists.

They are bringing a beloved game, one of the best RTSs of all time, to a group who might not have a way to experience it otherwise (contrary to what we tell ourselves here, not everyone who plays games owns every console and a high end PC). It's not as if there is a PS4 version already available and they are releasing a full price PS5 version. This is literally the first opportunity a PlayStation only person has had to buy the game.
We really need to get better at defining "milking," because it definitely shouldn't include bringing a game to a new audience for the first time.
It's a joke. But it's a $2 ancient game being sold for way more than it's worth as a definitive edition. It's still a milk job.

Oh wow 2 more Microsoft games for ps5 and both I was dreaming for as my ps5 only friends having been cravings for rts titles for years.

Don’t get too excited, these are two B-tier strategy games. However Halo, Gears of War and Starfield will never see the light of day on a PlayStation console - I know this because ocelot07 said so in previous posts.

Matter if opinions. I have been ages of empires fan since the very first. Own all on steam own some of the original discs included the aoe3 collectors edition.
Age of mythology is a series I have never gotten around to play (other than the 1 skirmish match on retold I had when I had GP).
Both to me are excellent games. If they are B teir for you that's absolutely fine that's your opinion.

The Halo 1 remake is also coming to PS5 day one.
Starfield is a very mediocre game, but it is also extremely likely it is coming to PS5 in the near future. Perhaps to coincide with the anniversary.

@ocelot to be honest, I haven’t played these games. I’m glad you enjoyed them. I might have started an Age of Empires on Xbox but would like to give it a full go.

I'm wondering if the next Age of Empires will return to the Industrial Revolution. That era was the best for the series with 3.
We're getting closer and closer to Halo and Gears being on PS5 a reality. Not a matter of if, but a matter of when.
Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition has been around for quite some time, but a recent offer makes now the perfect time to give the RTS a go.
That’s a real shame that those that already have the game and no doubt paid more for it, are being singled out by not receiving this “free dlc”.
