Well I would assume there would be multiple control schemes anyway. I personally think that the more subtle approach to motion controls works well for Wii games, ie Mario Galaxy.

It's simple truth of the games and how they have sold. SE probably formulated a FF type game just won't sell well on the Wii compared to the time invested and money into making it.

Yeah I like the PSP idea. this game could easily be played on the PSP and with friends as well. it'll prove a huge hit in Japan.

There have been so many contradictory rumors about this game. Wasn't it just recently that we were sure it was canceled and then SE started hyping it again?

That's not to say it isn't dead. I just wouldn't place too much stock in a rumor in a gaming magazine (and a second rate one at that). Once we get this from multiple sources with some evidence to back it up I'll believe it. Until then, I'm prepared to wait and see.

I will say that it's odd that SE has neglected the Wii. They're dropping a DS remake practically once a month, so it's not as if they have some vendetta against Nintendo. You could say that it's a matter of hardware inferiority, but the DS is technologically weaker than the PSP, and yet they've showed plenty of love to both. Also, sales don't seem to be the reason, because other major RPG franchises--Monster Hunter, Tales of, etc.--are showing up on the Wii because their makers believe that will lead to higher sales at lower production costs.

You know what, I can honestly say I won't miss this game being made. I enjoyed the first CC, but this one I wasn't really feeling. Now Kingdom Hearts Wii...that would be great!

well in fact i would want a more classic crystal chronicles, this one used the ir pointer to use that purple ball thing...

perhaps they canned the idea because they will make another crystal chronicles, a more classic one (not the echoes of Time one).
