It’s a fool’s thought to assume that all worthwhile horror tiles are crafted by top-notch, big named development teams. Quite often, it’s those well-funded crews that drop thoughtless plots and inane experiences. Sometimes, it winds up being the smaller companies and one-man teams that terrify us the most.
Footage from what appears to be a prototype build of Red Barrels' first-person psychological survival horror game, Outlast, has emerged.
This sounds interesting. Red Barrels is teaming up with Lionsgate and renown horror producer Roy Lee to develop a feature film anchored in the rich and horrifying universe of the Outlast series.
It has to be. I hope they learned with Borderlands that PG-13 is not the way if the source material is an M-Rated game.
