You can turn off that eye bleeding chromatic aberration and make the game look less blurry go to \AppData\Local\Indiana\Saved\C onfig\WindowsNoEditor open the Engine.ini and add this to the bottom of the text:
See if you can add a dead zone in the windows controller settings or find an app or possible .INI edit. I had a similar issue using a ps4 controller, I downloaded a Xbox controller emulator DS4Windows and it let's me add deadzones for the thumb sticks. Finger's crossed they can fix it or add a deadzone setting like borderlands 3

Hopefully they'll give us an update soon so we can turn it off in the graphics settings, apart from that I'm loving this game so far.
