Good, no one should support this.

Got my hard earned cash ready and I'll spend it on what the f#@k I like. 100 will be winging its way to Bethesda from me

Brave_Losers_Unite1644d ago

Good! So long as I don't run into empty headed brains during my multiplayer matches online.

Always a few fools promoting greed and pledging loyalty to anyone that will lord it over them.

Ninver1644d ago (Edited 1644d ago )

I recon they're doing this to get attention away from the outer worlds. Play the villain but gain publicity.

Nitrowolf21644d ago

It aint working, if anything itll deive people to it

Lighter91644d ago

LegacyKillaHD makes great videos about all of this.

Father__Merrin1644d ago

why are you personally being affected by this? your not being forced to buy it and it wont affect you

Ricegum1644d ago

And you're part of the problem, well done.

TheScotsman1644d ago

No your the problem, you ain't even playing the game and your moaning about a sub

fiveby91644d ago (Edited 1644d ago )

I think his point is that supporting them reinforces lousy business practices from a studio which many once loved. People had hope that Bethesda would turn the ship around slowly (esp with Wastelanders) but instead they appear to be tone deaf. But hey, you're free to buy whatever you like.

Father__Merrin1644d ago

Can any1 tell me if any mmo dishes out freebies like what's been offered in fallout 1st?

Other mmo either have monthly sub to play or charge for expansions etc I see no different here f76 is a great game. Most ppl who moan haven't even got the game and are likely spending all thier time on the internet

Christopher1644d ago (Edited 1644d ago )

@Father__Merrin: Most F2P who also have subscription models do the exact same thing if not more. DCUO offers unlimited access to all content and more rewards and free store currency. ESO similar. More storage space, better access to features that make life easier, and the like are common in them as well.

The thing is, those games have way more players in the world at once (not just a total of 8), have way more content, and don't cost $60 to buy. They also have diverse class systems, PvP, raids, and more.

Im with you, spend your money on what you like, I will

Specter2291644d ago

Let me understand you here. People have been asking for private servers and unlimited stash since day 1. They slap a price tag on it and you're ok with that?

They blatantly lied to you. They said the cant increase stash size because it affects performance, but now all of a sudden slap a price tag on it and they can do it?

notachance1644d ago

I still remember people saying "iT wON't aFfECt YoU" bullshit to a damn horse armor, now few years into the future we got all these shitty publishers (many of which were decent in the past) competing on how to best nickel and dime their customers

it will affect the damn publishers and their marketing strategy in the future, which in turn will affect ALL GAMER

rainslacker1643d ago

Probably considering they delayed the promised update that made the game more appealing to next year, and then pushed this on the consumer base instead? The sub isn't even all that special, and it's not even DLC, it's just a service, where you lose the DLC once the sub lapses. I mean, this is actually worse than DLC, as you don't even have a false sense of ownership, and it applies the rental service mentality in services like Game Pass or PSNow into DLC or MT content.

Sony Could Increase Your Game's Difficulty If It Sees You Complain About It

Sony has recently published a new patent that wants to dynamically handle the games' difficulty and gameplay based on the player's emotions.

This is something I might use. Sometimes I play some good games but they don’t have difficulty option and are a little too easy.
